Eligibility Criteria of Home Guards Recruitment
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a Graduate in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government.
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 21 to 38 years of age as on 01/01/2026.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation is applicable as follows:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
Other Requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Assam. Proof of residency (PRC or Employment Exchange Registration) is mandatory.
- Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration in Form A regarding small family norms.
