Scale of Pay: Selected candidates will be placed in E-1 Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/-. The initial basic pay will be Rs. 60,000/- per month during the 1-year training period. Upon successful completion of training, they will be confirmed as Officers in the same grade.
Eligibility Criteria of CIL MT Recruitment
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 30 years as on 30th April 2026 for General (UR) & EWS candidates.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwD (UR): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification:
- Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial: Degree in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- System: 1st Class BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in CS/IT or MCA.
- Electronics & Communication: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant branch with 60% marks.
- Geology: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics with 60% marks.
- Rajbhasha (Hindi): MA in Hindi (60%) and Graduation with Hindi/English (50%).
- Company Secretary: Graduate with CS qualification (Associate/Fellow membership of ICSI).
