How this IMA Attempt Calculator works
The tool checks your details against the IMA rule set and compares your date of birth with the age window on each upcoming CDS reckoning date. It looks at:
- Your date of birth and calendar-accurate current age
- IMA age limits (19 years completed, and under 24 years on the reckoning date)
- Your highest qualification, or final-year graduation status
- Gender and marital-status conditions (unmarried male candidates)
- Previous CDS attempts you entered
- The CDS I / CDS II session schedule
Eligibility is finally decided by the official UPSC notification. Rules and session dates are set in the configuration block at the top of the script and should be updated whenever UPSC revises them.
